Everyone knows what they should be doing. Almost nobody does it. The difference is not talent, or luck, or circumstances. It is the courage to tell yourself the truth, every day, five minutes, with no audience.

Why
The blank page works for people who already have the habit. For everyone else, and that is almost everyone, the blank page is what keeps the notebook shut by day five.
Here the question is already written. Open the day’s page, read it, write. Five minutes. If the question does not serve you, ignore it: the page is still yours.
Inside
These are real pages from the book, not mock-ups.

The method
I have used these on myself for years. They apply to any situation causing you pain or discomfort. In the book, each one opens three different weeks.
Who it is for
The author
Business, Leadership & Performance Master Coach and a Senior Leader on Tony Robbins’ global team, where she is the Official Portuguese-language Coach.
Born in Trás-os-Montes, in northern Portugal, she had her first business at seven. She holds a degree in Financial Management and a master’s in Clinical Mycology, and built a career of more than 21 years in the pharmaceutical industry. She started at the bottom as a medical sales representative, rose to management and then to running business areas, always in roles of major responsibility. She has worked full time since 2016 developing leaders, executives and business owners. In 2020, after an executive coaching programme, everything changed.
Eighty per cent of results come from psychology and twenty per cent from strategy. You work on the person first. The tools come second.
Questions
No. The point is not a perfect collection of days, it is the habit. Miss a day, carry on the next one. It says so in the rules on page 3.
You do not need to know how to write. You need to show up. Nobody reads this but you, and if you censor yourself here you are wasting the exercise.
Five minutes. Two more on Sunday for the weekly focus page, and three more on Saturday for the review.
A journal is a blank page waiting for inspiration. This is a six-month path with written questions, weekly reviews, a monthly score across three areas and pages to draw on. The structure is the product.
You go back to the beginning and compare the scores you gave on day one with today’s. The book closes with that page, and with a drawing to set beside the one you made at the start.
